[UPDATE: Sorry, our anniversary sale is over. Stay on top of future sales and promotions by receiving our newsletter. We generally only send emails once a month and never share your information. You can sign up on the right side of this page just a few lines down from the top!]
To celebrate our second anniversary, we’re having a sale! Take 25% off the entire store (excluding JC Trio) from now until Tuesday night at Midnight. That’s right, I said 25% off the entire store. No promo code is required, it’s just our way of saying thank you to all our wonderful customers. Here’s to another year of success and as always, thank you for your continued business and support.
To read about our accomplishments over the past year (and there are plenty!) check out our anniversary blog post. But that’s not all! We’ve also posted an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our lab, where all your Smoke Juice comes from. You can check that out on our YouTube channel.

Well, I can’t believe we’re about to celebrate our second anniversary already. While we generally let our customers pat us on the back for a job well done, I’d like to take a moment to highlight some of the incredible products and projects we’ve launched over the past year. We would not be here today without two groups of people. First, our customers, that’s YOU guys! Your continued support and loyalty means the world to us. We know you have choices out there for e-liquid and we’re thrilled you choose Smoke Juice. And second, our phenomenal team who never ceases to amaze us with what they can come up with. Whether that’s the newest flavor to our product line up, or the best way to package our products to get to you safely, I’ve never worked with a more talented and dedicated group of individuals. So thank you to our customers and thank you to our staff; (listed in the order in which they were hired) CEO Christian Berkey, President Michael Galesky, Production Manager Michelle Kieckbusch, Production Specialist Stephen Ekblad, Web Administrator and Director of Awesome Aki Braun, EVP Product Development Bob Kieckbusch, CFO Mark Smirniotis, Business Account Manager Bob Spircoff, Director of IT Dan Heron, Production Specialist James Hostetler, Production Specialist Dan Moran, Staff Designer Micah Zeilinger, and Inventory/Logistics Manager Victoria Hudziak.
Since our last anniversary, these are just some of the things we’ve done:
- Last fall we launched our first seasonal flavor, Spiced Apple Cider. It’s easy to say Spiced Apple Cider has created quite the customer following and I’m pleased to announce it will be back again this fall. Stay tuned for more information.
- Last winter we launched our second seasonal flavor, Mint Mocha and we brought Spiced Apple Cider back for a limited time to help raise funds for the devastating earthquake in Haiti.
- In February, we launched a completely PG Free Smoke Juice called Red Oak. Our entire team worked very hard on this project which was spearheaded by Bob Kieckbusch.
- In March we announced a partnership with e-cigarette hardware manufacturer blu cigs, this project was spearheaded by Mark Smirniotis. We attended the Wisconsin Bar and Tavern League convention in Eau Claire, WI and we added designer extraordinaire, Micah Zeilinger, to our staff to handle all graphics.
- In April we added one of our signature flavors, Tennessee Cured, to our Red Oak product line up and we added another team member to our staff, Victoria Hudziak, to manage our supply chain logistics and procurement.
- In May we launched our affiliate network and our Wisconsin Bar and Tavern program.
- In June and most of this month, we opened up our doors to multiple members of local media, including: OnMilwaukee.com, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Wisconsin State Journal, Up Front with Vicki McKenna, Milwaukee NBC affiliate WTMJ-4, Newsradio 620 WTMJ, WisconsinEye Made in Wisconsin and Milwaukee CBS affiliate WDJT 58.
It’s been a year of continued growth and as we look forward to our next 12 months, you can be on the look out for more seasonal flavors, a few “surprise” flavors and more products to choose from. We hope you will continue to view us as your Smoke Juice experts.

Happy Friday everyone,
As mentioned in last week’s blog post, we’ve made a commitment to updating our blog weekly. Today I’m going to give you a peak inside the walls here at Johnson Creek. We have a great team made up of talented, dedicated people. I’d like to introduce Steve Ekblad, from our lab production team.
Today is Steve’s last day for the next 7 weeks, as he’s off to join his U.S. Army Reserve unit in South Carolina for training. So, I’d like to give him the first opportunity to introduce himself and explain what he does here at Johnson Creek. Before I turn it over to Steve though, I would like to say thank you to Steve for his tremendous hard work over the course of the last year. We couldn’t have done it without you my friend. We’re going to miss you so hurry back safe and sound!
Heidi
Hello everyone!
My name is Stephen Ekblad and I work in the lab at Johnson Creek, I have been working here for 2 years. The work done in the lab is very important because we, at Johnson Creek, believe in quality, safety and accuracy. I enjoy working for Johnson Creek for a variety of reasons. The work environment is much like a family feel while still accomplishing the production of orders. One such example of this is the paintball expedition that we went on as a company outing a few weeks ago. There is also great time and dedication that the company makes on the behalf of the employees to try to better the company from the inside. I am proud to work for a company that is so dedicated to providing an alternative to analog cigarettes. I am honored to work for a company that makes a completely American made product. I am also thankful and appreciative that Johnson Creek is so flexible with my work schedule. I am currently working on my Masters of Arts of Theology degree and Johnson Creek allows me the flexibility of working full time while still being able to get my school work completed. I will be back in September after my training with the ARMY, until then have a great rest of your summer!
Stephen Ekblad

Did Steve pack your order? If he did, you’ll see this on your packing slip:
